Football fever kicks off on Friday June 14 as the Euros get under way and a rather unusual find has been discovered to mark the occasion.
A British Transport Police World Cup Germany 2006 suit jacket with patch, and associated tie, set-up pass and lanyard are coming to auction. A handy outfit to keep any troublemakers at bay!
The unusual find enters Hansons’ June 13-18 Derbyshire Antiques and Collectors sale guided at £60-£80. It’s apt bearing in mind Germany are hosting this year’s Euros which will entertain fans of the beautiful game for an entire month.
The opening match will see Germany host Scotland in Munich, with the Group A clash set for an 8pm kick-off.
You can’t buy it in time for that game but as the tournament progresses the lucky buyer of this quirky football outfit could stand out from the crowd instead of sporting a standard England – or Scotland – shirt! The item, Lot 3432, will be offered on June 18.
